This 8,000 sq. ft. historic home was built in 1906 by Belvidere native, Katherine Rhinehart. In 1934, it was purchased by the Funderburgs.

It is now open for tours, rentals, and events. Contact the Boone County Museum of History for more information!

Clue & Fondue was a BLAST on Saturday night! ✨

Thank you to everyone who made this happen: our wonderful patrons, volunteers, staff, and actors!!!
A special thank you to:
1. Main Street Players of Boone County for bringing this evening to life!
2. Sips and Sprinkles for providing the delicious refreshments and, of course, FONDUE!
3. Finally, a most exuberant celebration to Sonya Thompson Dobberfuhl! She designed and organized ALL the props, volunteers, and gameplay.

We love sharing these joyous evenings with Boone County's community, and we hope to see you at future Funderburg House events!

Cost is $40 per person. This gives participants access to the game AND a variety of heavy appetizers! An additional cash bar will be available for patrons.

Clue & Fondue is a fundraising event hosted by the Boone County Historical Society at the Funderburg House. This event utilizes the gameplay of famous board game, CLUE, and transforms this historical home into a three-dimensional board game!

Participants gather fellow investigators to solve the Funderburg House's mystery! Groups traverse the multi-leveled building, investigate each rooms secrets, and deduce a solution! In down time, participants are encouraged to partake in available heavy appetizers and - of course - FONDUE!
