Museum of Mid-Century Modern Architecture & Design The Belleville Historical Society is restoring a home to serve as a Midcentury Modern Architecture Museum featuring the work of Belleville architect Charles E.

King. Designed by King in 1952 for Terry and Thelma Blazier, the house was subsequently in use as a funeral home, then as a church, before the historical society purchased it in 2015. Donations to support the renovation are greatly appreciated and may be made to the Belleville Historical Society.

You're invited to join us on Wednesday for our Concert of the Lawn!

All of the stars will be out on Wednesday night for our Concert on the Lawn, featuring the talents of a string quartet from the Belleville Philharmonic Society! ā­

Please join us at the Museum of Mid-Century Modern Architecture & Design (6 Oak Knoll Place) at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26! The string quartet will be joined by a vocalist to perform a selection of show tunes. We'll also be serving up show tune-themed mocktails!

This event is free, but donations are appreciated to help us with our work to preserve and celebrate the history of our great city!

Pack your blankets and chairs, grab some takeout for dinner, pickup your friends on the way, and we'll see you Wednesday on the lawn!

We're just one week from our Concert on the Lawn with the Belleville Philharmonic String Quartet! You're invited to join us at the Museum of Mid-Century Modern Architecture & Design (6 Oak Knoll Place) at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, for an evening of show tunes performed by a Belleville Philharmonic Society string quartet!

Join us at the museum later this month for an afternoon celebrating mid-century style (and delicious tea)! ā˜•ļø

We're now less than a month away from Atomic Tea Time!

You're invited to join us on Saturday, July 25, from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the Museum of Mid-Century Modern Architecture & Design (6 Oak Knoll Place) for an afternoon of delicious tea from The London Tea Merchant, snacks and retro fun!

Tickets are $60 for adults and $45 for kids ages 10-14. They are available online at bit.ly/bhsatomicteatime or in person at The Tea Spot (28 East Main Street). We're also partnering with Larissa Photography for professional photographs in your vintage tea time outfits!
