You’re invited to join us on Saturday, October 24, at 10 a.m. for the 2026 Belleville Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony!

Jacob Brosius, an innovative manufacturer, and Henry Raab, a master teacher, will be enshrined next Saturday on the Belleville Public Square. This event is free and open to the public.

2027 Belleville Historical Society Calendars will be available for purchase at the museum on Sunday from 1-3 p.m. during the Michael Anderson Art Show!

We're excited to share that 2027 Belleville Historical Society Calendars are now available for purchase! The theme of the 2027 calendar is: Belleville Then and Now.

Belleville sure has changed a lot over the years. But in other ways, it’s stayed exactly the same. The Belleville Historical Society’s 2027 calendar theme is Belleville Then and Now: A celebration of the buildings, people, and life of our city and how it’s changed (and in some ways stayed the same) since its founding in 1814. Featured throughout the calendar are historical photos of Belleville alongside photos taken from the same angle today.

Calendars are available for purchase at both of our museums and our local business partners for $15. You can also purchase a calendar online and have it delivered to you for $18. Visit bellevillehistoricalsociety.org/about/calendars for more information on how to purchase a calendar!

The Belleville Historical Society is hosting the 15th Annual Paint Historic Belleville Art Auction today starting at 11:30 a.m. at the Historic Garfield Street Saloon Museum!

Today’s the day! We hope that you’ll join us at the Historic Garfield Street Saloon Museum (633 East Garfield Street) today for the Paint Historic Belleville Art Auction!

Starting at 11:30 a.m., you can view paintings of historic Belleville buildings and homes painted by local artists! You'll also be able to learn a little bit about the history of each site. There will be live music, food and refreshments available for purchase, and the museum will be open for tours!

Then at 1 p.m., each painting will be up for auction with proceeds benefiting the Belleville Historical Society. We hope to see you there!

A new art exhibit is coming to the museum soon! It's a great opportunity to view some incredible artwork and to take a tour of the museum! We hope to see you there!

We're excited to announce a new art exhibit at the Museum of Mid-Century Modern Architecture & Design (6 Oak Knoll Place)!

From September 27 to November 15, the work of artist Michael Anderson will be on display every Sunday from 1-3 p.m. In addition to meeting the artist and viewing his work, you'll also be able to tour the museum.
