Join artist Karen Jewell-Kett for an engaging gallery discussion exploring her solo exhibition, MOMENT:MOMENTUM on Wednesday, June 24 from 7–8 pm. This free event is open to the public and offers a unique opportunity to experience the artwork through the artist’s own perspective and insights. Refreshments will be provided.

Our weekly summer art camps are in full swing! While many camps have already filled, there are still a few spots available in select programs. If you have a child ages 8–12, there's still time to register for this upcoming camp with longtime BAYarts sewing instructor Audra Costello.

In Hoopin' it Up, campers will practice sewing and embroidery skills as they complete a variety of projects intended for display inside the hoops in which they were created. Grab the last few spots before they're gone:

On Friday, we celebrated two wonderful opening receptions, featuring Karen Jewell-Kett’s MOMENT:MOMENTUM in the Sullivan Family Gallery and Morris Bennett’s Guided by Intuition: A Lifetime of Work in the Sally J. Otto Gallery.

Congratulations to both artists, and thank you to everyone who joined us in support of their work and the vibrant arts community we share. If you missed the openings, there's still plenty of time to come visit:

Reminder that during this Saturday's Art & Music Festival, the BAYarts Ceramics Department will be hosting their beloved Orphan Pottery Sale from 10 am to 4 pm in the Ceramics Studio.

Come shop our vast collection of "orphan" pots and projects. These are pieces left behind by teachers and students of all ages, or in many cases, sample pieces or perfectly imperfect creations...all at bargain prices. This is a unique opportunity to take home some handcrafted ceramics pieces at low cost, all while supporting BAYarts.

☔⚡ We regret to share that tonight's scheduled concert with the School of Rock Headliners is canceled due to impending severe weather. While we're disappointed, we look forward to trying again next Sunday with the fabulous One Eyed Fred. Thanks for understanding!
