HAMILTON ARTS COLLECTIVE | HAMILTON GALLERY
is pleased to announce the extension of the exhibition

Tim Jankowiak – Recent Paintings
in the Ron Cohn Gallery at Hamilton Gallery

Exhibition NOW ON view through June 28, 2026

Join us for the Hamilton Art Festival RECEPTION - SATURDAY, June 6, 1-4pm

Artist Statement
Most of the pieces in this show were completed since 2024, and they represent my self-conscious turn towards dynamic color-play as an occasion for celebrating the aesthetically complete and sometimes even rapturous perceptions that the world offers us daily, so long as we remain open to them. In our current historical moment, there is much to loathe about the present, regret about the past, and fear about the future. While I share these sentiments every day, I also believe that They win if we’re so absorbed by the unfolding horror-show that we lose our sensitivity to the opportunities for aesthetic delight presented by the people, places, and things that surrounds us. As long as we’re still human, that spring will never run dry, and no one should go long without drinking from it. I want to create images that serve as a reminder of this.

Group exhibition of HAC artist members:
Jude Asher, Schroeder Cherry, Zachary Diaz, Diane Dennis, Jessica Devilbiss, Grace Doyle, Nancy Keene Fishel, Tim Jankowiak, Amy Klainer, Dara Lorenzo, Debra Parks, L. Nef’fahtiti Partlow-Myrick, Aaron Oldenburg, Linda Popp, Lynn Poshepny, Katie Rickman, Theresa Reuter, Michael Seipp, Jed Smalley, Bridget Z. Sullivan, Richard Sullivan, Maxine Taylor, & Malaun Wright.
