I’ve been debating how to share this, but transparency matters to me, and this community deserves an update. On May 22nd, I had brain surgery. The doctors were not able to remove everything, so radiation is the next step, and I’m waiting on the plan. I also had some complications in the hospital and as a result of the surgery, but I’m home now, resting and healing day by day.
Recovery will take time, but I’m determined. My intention is to be at the June 8th meeting - hopefully in person, but I’ll be there on Zoom if that’s what my body allows.
To everyone who has shown love in any form - meals, donations, messages, visits, prayers - thank you. I truly could not get through this without you. This Village has wrapped my family and me in a level of kindness I will never forget.
I also want to thank Gina, Eagle Matt Lee, and every volunteer involved in Thursday’s upcoming benefit. We are humbled, grateful, and honored to be part of this community.
I look forward to healing, returning to full strength, and paying forward every bit of this generosity.
