Here’s a quick preview of just a few of the beautiful works of art that will be in Latination 13.

LATINATION PREVIEW: Maria Zaragoza Melendrez

This is one of my favorites this year. I believe it’s Maria’s first time submitting to Latination. The judges also had many comments about both pieces she will have in the show.

Keep an eye on these this coming Friday night! It all gets underway at 4pm when the Latination Mercado and El Jardin de Ce***za y Vino open at 18th and N streets. The gallery opens at 5. Awards will be announced at 6:45. Mento Buru will be back
for their 13th time as the headliners!

We were so happy to have Supervisor Leticia Perez back with us again this year. Leticia has been a presenting sponsor since Latination 8. She is once again this year and was one of our judges too!

Now that judging is complete, we prep for installation of the show. Today: walls are being patched, prepped and painted.

We use an ultra pure white paint with and eggshell finish. It makes for a clean canvas and makes the art pop!

More photos and videos in the coming days to share the process of installing an exhibit.
