Join the folks at The Ayden Museum for photos and a chat with Beauty and the Beast from 5-7 pm on Friday June 5. Not often can you see them right here in Ayden NC and not have to travel to Disney World. Kids, parents and well-behaved pets are welcomed.

The Ayden Aces were a semipro team in Ayden for a couple of years in the late 1930s. My husband Alex Warren's uncle, Walter Rabb, a former UNC coach, played for the Snow Hill Billies against Ayden. Names of these lads and other photos of the Aces are appreciated.

Yesterday (1/20), the Ayden Historical Museum and Arts Society welcomed 10 teachers from Ayden Middle School. Led by Lassiter Wooten, they used part of their teacher workday to learn about the impressive offerings of Ayden and concluded their day with the beginnings and history of our sweet little town. Thank you, Lassiter and team, for your awesome visit.
