To be honest, Octavia has had an adventurous day. First she accompanied us to Merano, a beautiful little city in the South Tyrol region. We thought we might spend an hour or two walking the streets, but instead we spent nearly the whole day at the botanical garden. And then explored the Tourism museum located in Trauttsmansdorff castle. So many additions since we were here in 2017. One of our favorites and apparently not Octavia's since she stayed in her hideout, was the world's largest pinball machine. We played with it for a long time before finished the museum. All was well, we got back to our bus and after going about five miles, the bus broke down! One of the wheels on the bus actually started coming off. Are you singing "The Wheels on the Bus go Round and Round yet??" Well they were and suddenly they weren't. We all had to get off in the hot sun, but luckily it broke down right next to a Ski Tram. We bought tickets and rode up to the top. Octavia was excited to see out the window since there was NO one except for us. She enjoyed the steep ride over rugged mountainous terrain. At the top, we enjoyed a fresh cup of fruit and tiramisu, a delicious dessert. By the time we got off the mountain, we only waited a few minutes before another bus came with the proper #. We recognized the unfriendly driver from before. He offered no help before when the bus broke down, and no explanation and then this time, on the way back he made us all get off the bus at least a half mile or so from our hotel even though, he would drive right next to it where a proper bus stop was. It made no sense, but since I can't speak the language which by the way, you would assume was Italian since we are in Italy, but no, everything is in German. Since I don't speak German, or Italian, I couldn't really say anything.
