Oh, My Heck - Charlene Carbaugh got a 300 score playing “Oh, My Heck!” this evening at Franks Birthday Party. It looks like Rule #7 (Have Fun for Heck Sakes!) was alive and well. It just doesn’t get any more fun than that!

Did you place a low card thinking you would be able to get rid of it and find that it ends up being the high card of that color - and no one trumped it?

OH, MY HECK! August 5th is “Work Like a Dog Day”

Work Like a Dog Day honors and recognizes the hardest working among us. People who Work Like a Dog, dig in relentlessly. They seldom take a break until the task is completed. They who work like a dog, work very hard while they are working. But, they do not work all of the time.

Today is a day to show appreciation for those who carry more than their load, and work like a dog. You can also honor them by working like a dog today.

Our motto at Sunrise Fun Games is Work Hard and Play Hard. This evening we’re going to the Whittier Center in Logan, Utah to play “OH, MY HECK!” with family and friends.

“OH, MY HECK!” is available in Logan at the following locations: The Book Table, Tricyles and Toads, Cache Valley Visitors Bureau, and HeeBeeGeeBeez. Order on line at www.sunrisefungames.com or www.amazon.com.

Oh, My Heck! July 27th is “Take Your Pants for a Walk Day”

This is a great day to get some exercise. So, you should celebrate this day in a big, big way. It’s an easy day to celebrate and you can do it simply by going for a walk.

Give your pants some exercise. After all, they are looking a little tight around the middle, the walk will do them good. Take the family and your dog on a walk over to a friends house for a game of “OH, MY HECK!”

“OH, MY HECK!” is available in Logan at the following locations: The Book Table, Tricyles and Toads, Cache Valley Visitors Bureau, and HeeBeeGeeBeez. Order on line at www.sunrisefungames.com or www.amazon.com.

Oh My Heck, it's almost here. July 19th is “National Raspberry Cake Day”!

That will make tomorrow as sweet as a Sunrise summer day can be. Tender raspberries are among the best of fruits that nature has to offer. Put them into a cake......Then, you can "have your fruit and eat it, too!"

Raspberries are one of summer’s sweet, fruity treats. And, the harvest is going on right now. So enjoy a piece of raspberry cake in celebration of the harvest.

Here is the Sunrise three step recipe for a perfect National Raspberry Cake Day:

1. Get some fresh picked raspberries.
2. Bake fresh raspberries into a cake.
3. Eat some raspberry cake and play “OH, MY HECK!” with family and friends.

“OH, MY HECK!” is available in Logan at the following locations: The Book Table, Tricyles and Toads, Cache Valley Visitors Bureau, and HeeBeeGeeBeez. Order on line at www.sunrisefungames.com or www.amazon.com.

OH, MY HECK. July 4th was amazing and it’s already July 5th. What’s worse is that today is Work-A-Holic Day.

This day recognizes the guy, or gal, who works all of the time....... even during holidays. While just about everyone is enjoying the Fourth of July holiday, the Work-A-Holic is off working on some project. They can't relax. It's not in their nature. They’re addicted to work. It's not necessarily work out of need. It's work because there either is work to be done, or there's a perceived work project to do. Fine, it might also be related to earning a living. Nevertheless, here's how you know if you're a Work-A-Holic:

• It's the Fourth of July weekend, and you are at work or brought home work.
• You are working because "It's fun!" Yes, we've heard that one before.
• You work because you want to, not because you need to. (yeah, right)
• You are always the first one to work and/or the last one to leave.
• It's Saturday, and you're working.
• It's Sunday, and you're working.
• You're last thoughts as you fall asleep are related to work.

If you are a Work-A-Holic, we encourage you to use Work-A-Holic Day to break the habit. Simply take today off. Enjoy the beauty along the way. Get together with family and friends for a good ole game of “OH, MY HECK!”.

July 3rd is Stay Out of the Sun Day

Stay Out of the Sun Day encourages us stay cool in the shade, and to give our skin a rest from the hot, damaging rays of the sun.
The sun is directly over head. We're in the middle of summer, when the temperatures are the hottest, and the sun is the brightest. It's not a bad day to take a break from catching all of those rays and stay out of the sun.

Find some fun and relaxing ways to stay in the shade. A hammock strung behind two shady tress sounds like a great way to go! Another great way to celebrate this day is to gather with family and friends for a good ole game of “OH, MY HECK!” while you Stay Out of the Sun Today.

OH, MY HECK, there are 4 ways to celebrate June 29th! Today is Camera Day, Hug Holiday Day and Waffle Iron Day.
So, we at Sunrise Fun Games suggest that everyone start the day off by Hugging those who need one (that’s pretty much all of us). Then whip up a batch of waffle batter, dig out your old waffle Iron and enjoy some yummy waffles for breakfast. While all this is going on, be sure to put that camera to use and capture some memories while you’re playing a game of “OH, MY HECK!” with family and friends.

OH, MY HECK! June 28th is Paul Bunyan Day.
Paul Bunyan Day is a giant of a day. Paul Bunyan was a gigantic lumberjack of American Folklore. According out folklore, Paul Bunyan and his blue ox "Babe" lived and traveled around country. He is best known for his logging feats.
Paul Bunyan is "credited" with many deeds. Among his more legendary feats:
• He created logging in the U.S.
• He scooped out the great lakes to water Babe, his ox.
• He cleared the entire states of North and South Dakota for farming.
• He trained ants to do logging work. They were, of course, Carpenter Ants.
• Babe's large footprints created Minnesota's 10,000 lakes.
Celebrate Paul Bunyan Day in a giant way. Learn more about Paul and his tales. Spread the tales around. They are best told by word of mouth around a campfire or during a game of “OH, MY HECK!” with family and friends. “OH, MY HECK!” is available in Logan at the following locations: The Book Table, Tricyles and Toads, Cache Valley Visitors Bureau, and HeeBeeGeeBeez.
