Come to the Schweinfurth Art Center from 2-4 pm Saturday, Sept. 19, to hear the three curators of "Sa:gwáyoˀ Gayogo̱hó:nǫˀ/Cayuga People, We Returned" -- Dr. Jolene Rickard, Noah Mapes, and Audrey Chan -- talk about the concept and design of the exhibition. The show, which focuses on the forced displacement of the Cayuga peoples, features artists from across the Hodinǫhsǫ́:nih (Haudenosaunee) Confederacy. The event is free and open to the public.

Scottsville, NY, artist Susan Ferrari Rowley is featured in the Schweinfurth Art Center's fall exhibition, "Perpetual Expanse." Her fabric and aluminum sculptures seem to defy gravity as they partially hang on the wall. Come to the opening reception 4 to 6 pm Saturday, Aug. 29, to meet the artist and view her work. Artist Eric Gansworth (Onoñda’gegá’/Onǫdagehó:nǫˀ/Onondaga Eel Clan ) will talk about "Trinity," his piece in the exhibition "Sa:gwáyoˀ Gayogo̱hó:nǫˀ / Cayuga People, We Returned" at 2 pm Saturday, Aug. 15 at the Schweinfurth Art Center. The exhibition is also located at the Cayuga Museum of History & Art. Gansworth's talk is FREE and open to the public!
