One week from today - Friday, June 5th, at 5:00 p.m., is our Artists Reception!! You don't want to miss out on these great informative and interactive presentations!! Come see Rene Sprattling giving her ceramic presentation with hands on from the audience, followed by Robin Martinez Rice giving her presentation on the stories that she brings to life of her painted reclaimed and recycled furniture! Refreshments and lots of new art to see in the gallery! See you there!!

Mark your calendars for Persimmon Art Gallery’s upcoming Artists Reception on Friday, June 5th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. At approximately 5:30 p.m., ceramist, Rene Sprattling, will give a presentation on Stamp and Texture Techniques for Clay. Ball stamps, rolling stamps and flat stamps will be demonstrated. Those in attendance will have a ‘hands on’ opportunity to stamp clay slabs at the end of her presentation.

Next up at approximately 6:00 p.m., Robin Martinez Rice will talk about how she has found joy in sharing the stories that emerge from objects around her as she repairs and paints wooden furniture. Robin will give a short slide presentation that examines the before and after of furniture no one wanted and hear some of the tales they tell her. You won’t want to miss either one of these artists presentations! See you there!

Persimmon Art Gallery has a new look! As you may know if you have visited the gallery, we have the main gallery, and then down the hallway four more galleries. Our very own Darien Hamilton, hand painted some special authentic looking fruit label signs for each of the galleries down the hall. You're invited to stop by and admre for yourself!! Thank you Darien!!
