Friday's Auburn Art Walk and Persimmon Art Gallery's reception was so much fun! Many local and out-of-town folks came in to see the art, meet the artists, and hear the music provided by John Potter of Time Slip. It was a great evening! Meet Persimmon Art Gallery's newest artist: Gina Grice, who is a watercolor and Ink abstract artist. She is a Registered Nurse, Certified Therapeutic Art & Wellness Coach and teaching artist at Baya Bird Studio. Gina has 13 years of experience as an educator teaching art for all ages from K-12 and adults. She currently teaches at Sun City Lincoln Hills and runs a monthly art class at Wellness Within Cancer Care Group.
Gina is an avid supporter of the arts in education and in other areas of her local arts community. We are very excited to have her join our gallery.

She will be at our reception during Auburn Art Walk this Friday, August 7th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Come by and meet Gina! Ask her what a Baya bird is!!

Come join us next Friday, August 7th for Downtown Art Walk from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Persimmon Art Gallery. There are 18 stops on the map to visit and see your local artists and their artwork on display.

We are proud to say some of Persimmon's members are being featured at various locations: Allison Armstrong - Art Park ( #3 on map); Patrick Shields - Tango ( #4); and Art By Celeste Budd - Edelweiss Restaurant ( #13).

Bring the family and enjoy the evening. Persimmon will have live music provided by Time-Slip and some light refreshments. See you next Friday!
