MAP Gallery was founded with the belief that a partnership between artist, public and most importantly, the community is an essential relationship. In an effort to bring the under-served artist to the attention of the community, MAP gallery will maintain an outreach program to individuals such as young emerging artists. The mission of MAP Gallery is to be an innovative and compelling center of con

temporary art where the public and community can directly experience the work and ideas of living artists, and understand the historical, social, Urban and cultural context of the artist and art of our time. MAP gallery will boldly interweave exhibitions, performances, collections, and educational programs to excite, challenge, and illuminate our visitors and to provide insight into the creative process of the artist. MAP gallery aspires to engage a broad and diverse audience, to create a sense of community and to be a place for contemplation, stimulation, and discussion about contemporary art and culture. Use of gallery space is extended for benefits, lectures, readings and exhibits by for and not-for-profit groups whose mission reflects the objectives of the gallery. We select and display works of the highest quality and in a variety of media.
