The Circle of Art Atchison is excited to announce our Special Guest Artists for the Holidays—Meredith Lockhart and Patty Boldridge! Meredith and Patty have brought us an exciting collaboration of mixed media art, featuring Gelli printed papers, a technique we learned in our Art Club, ephemera, found objects, antique prints, and hand painting. Back in the day, Moody's was a roadside diner, grilling burgers and the iconic Moody Burger for their faithful customers.

Included in the display is “Saturday Night (at the Byram)”.
About the Byram…

A landmark from back in the day, the Byram Hotel was not only a renowned hotel in its time, but also was a “go to - gotta be there” social hot spot.

Young unmarried Atchison men-about-town organized a bachelor club which would meet at the Byram to socialize. The club stayed in effect until the last of the bachelors married.

A tip of the martini glass to the bachelors club and to the Byram. Cheers!
