The Hubbard House Underground Railroad Museum was honored to be represented at the Governorโ€™s Residence for a Black History Month Event in Columbus, Ohio.

Board Chair Sharone Sing and his wife, Shirley Sing, along with Executive Director Sally Bradley, joined leaders from across the state in recognizing and celebrating the history, legacy, and enduring contributions of African Americans throughout Ohio and our nation.

As a historic Underground Railroad site, participation in this special statewide celebration holds deep meaning for our organization. The work of preserving history is not only about remembering the past, but also inspiring future generations to lead with courage, understanding, and unity.

We are proud to represent Ashtabula County and grateful for opportunities to share the continuing story of freedom, resilience, and hope that the Hubbard House stands for every day.
