Now until July 14th, from the collection of Cheech Marin, "Papel Chicano Dos" works on paper. 65 artworks by 24 established and emerging artists. Dating from the late 1980s to present day, their work demonstrates a myriad of techniques from watercolor and aquatint to paste and mixed media. Their iconic imagery has influences ranging from pre-Hispanic symbols and post-revolutionary nationalistic Mexican motives to the Chicano movement of the 1960s and contemporary urban culture.

An Exhibit by the Mukrim Brush Painting Club will be on display until June 30th. The 35 members of Mukrim have come together to bring life to this exhibition. “Moments of Reflection” is a collection that involves the classic “Four Gentlemen,” natural landscapes, traditional folk art, fans and folding screens – over 100 art works. This exhibit is free at the Muzeo Carnegie Building.

Papel Chicano Dos – Now through July 14, 2019, Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center showcases 65 artworks from the private collection of Cheech Marin, actor, director, writer, musician and humanitarian. This major exhibition features 24 established and emerging artists, a small theater and one amazing car. Dating from the late 1980’s to present day, the artists’ work demonstrates a myriad of techniques from watercolor and aquatint to paste and mixed media. Their iconic imagery has influences ranging from pre-Hispanic symbols and post-revolutionary nationalistic Mexican motives to the Chicano movement of the 1960’s and contemporary urban culture.

Celebrate and explore your creativity in support of Water Awareness Month by participating in this year’s 29th Annual 2019 Student Poster Contest.
Anaheim Public Utilities invites all 1st through 12th grade students, attending a public or private school located in Anaheim, to express their creativity and inspire the community to save water.
This year’s contest, themed “Water is Life,” aims to help raise awareness of everyday water.

COMMUNITY ART DAY at MUZEO on Saturday, January 26 from 8 AM – 12 PM. Participated artists painted on 3′ x 3′ canvas to display at an Anaheim homeless shelter. Each art work will brighten up the residents’ living space with the theme of “Hope”. All materials were provided, but are allowed to bring their own (acrylics only) paints and brushes.
