In 1983, Disneyland Cast Members were invited to celebrate the opening of the newly transformed Fantasyland with a special invitation and a commemorative key engraved with โ€œNew Fantasyland 1983 Opening.โ€โ

Today, that original key, invitation, and Cast Member nametags are on display as part of our Exhibition, ๐˜ผ๐™ฃ๐™–๐™๐™š๐™ž๐™ข๐™ก๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™, at Muzeo, offering a glimpse into the people and moments behind one of Disneylandโ€™s most memorable transformations.โ

In commemoration of Americaโ€™s 250th anniversary, the USA 250 Anaheim Committee is preserving a piece of its story for future generations with a time capsule that will be located at Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center. Weโ€™re looking for meaningful items that tell the story of our community today.โ

Searching for a night that brings people together, supports the arts, and gives you a reason to get dressed up?

Join us October 3rd for ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ง๐ž๐ ๐š๐ญ ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ž๐จ: ๐€ ๐’๐ฐ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐…๐š๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐…๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ฌ๐ž๐ซ, supporting the arts in our community.

For one night, Muzeo becomes shipwrecked. Castaways will discover an island inspired buffet, rum tastings, live music, and a little piracy for the arts.

Then the tide goes out for a special talk from Disney historian and Imagineer Kevin Kidney, tracing the real island, a local treehouse, and the real story behind the Swiss Family classic.
