Join us for a screening of Lara Dale’s short film, Smaller Than Life: The Miniature Alchemy of Tim Prythero, alongside an extremely rare public interview with Tim.

October 24th from 4-5 PM at Weems Gallery.

Lara was born in Santa Fe, and raised in Corrales and Albuquerque. She majored in Dance and Theater Arts at UNM before moving to NYC to be part of the vibrant East Village film and performance scene in the 1980s. Now, Lara is a professional Foley Artist and Documentary Filmmaker currently producing a feature film about the extraordinary local miniaturist Tim Prythero.

🤓 Weems team is nerding out today about these two works of art a client found on an old structure on their ranch. Painted on metal, there is a subtle sheen and glisten to the halos, and the old frame is made from repurposed wood + hand forged nails…incredible.
