NOW OPEN!
Yuki Murata | Core Samples
Amie Legette | Folding Pond
Nikesha Breeze | New Editions

Come see our brand new exhibition, featuring three solo shows from three incredible artists. The works in this show can also be viewed online at our website or on Artsy (see the link in our bio).

🗓️Dates: June 17th-August 8th
⏰Hours: Wednesday-Saturday 11am-4pm
🥂Reception: Saturday, July 11th

Yuki Murata was trained as an architectural and product designer at Yale University and the Rhode Island School of Design. Her signature earth paintings featured in Core Samples draw inspiration from the vastly contrasting ecology of her home in Santa Fe and her far-flung artist residencies in Nevada, Iceland, Norway, and Spain. In addition to her art practice, Murata also owns and operates a home design consultancy.

Amie LeGette received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA with a certificate in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of New Mexico. The works in Folding Pond, created following the birth of her daughter, are elegant paintings made from layers of indigo-dyed silk that reflect on the physical and metaphorical qualities of water.

Nikesha Breeze is an African American/Assyrian interdisciplinary artist, activist, and educator who works from a global African diasporic and Afro-Futurist perspective. Breeze draws on ancestral memory and archival research to recover stories long erased from the historical record. The works in this show are two new limited editions that support Living Histories—her ongoing project combining monumental sculpture, sound, and performance that was recently featured at the Biennale of Sydney.
