A look back at Archival (Re)turn: Rethinking Archives as Practice and Rereading Montien Boonma, organized by Dib Bangkok’s Department of Learning & Public Engagement and Asia Art Archive (AAA), Hong Kong, from 1–3 August 2026 at Dib Bangkok.

Hear reflections from Anthony Yung, Mu-Tien Tammy Ho, Somsuda Piamsumrit, and Ariana Chaivaranon on archives, digitization, and new ways of reading Montien Boonma’s practice.

Take a look back at the moments that made "To Be Continued Party" a memorable farewell to "(In)visible Presence," the inaugural exhibition of Dib Bangkok.

From experiencing the exhibition one last time to taking part in activities that invited visitors to create lasting memories, and ending the evening with a live performance by Tilly Birds, every moment became part of the closing chapter of our first exhibition.

ค่ำคืนของ To Be Continued Party คือการร่วมเฉลิมฉลองและส่งท้าย "(In)visible Presence" นิทรรศการแรกของ ดิบ บางกอก ไปพร้อมกับทุกคนที่มาร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการเดินทางครั้งนี้

ตลอดทั้งวันและค่ำคืนในวันที่ 31 กรกฎาคม 2569 ที่ผ่านมา ผู้ชมได้ใช้เวลาร่วมกับผลงานศิลปะในช่วงโค้งสุดท้าย ก่อนร่วมกิจกรรมพิเศษ ทั้ง Silkscreen Workshop การบันทึกความทรงจำผ่านกล้องฟิล์มใช้แล้วทิ้ง เพลย์ลิสต์จาก DJ Gres Teh และการแสดงสดจาก Tilly Birds ที่ช่วยเติมเต็มค่ำคืนแห่งการเฉลิมฉลองส่งท้ายนิทรรศการ "(In)visible Presence"

"To Be Continued Party" marked a special evening celebrating and bidding farewell to "(In)visible Presence," the inaugural exhibition of Dib Bangkok, together with everyone who joined us on this remarkable journey.

Throughout the day and into the evening on 31 July 2026, visitors experienced the exhibition one final time before taking part in a series of special activities, including a Silkscreen Workshop, memory-making through disposable film cameras, a curated playlist by DJ Gres Teh, and a live performance by Tilly Birds—bringing the celebration of "(In)visible Presence" to a memorable close.

Dib Bangkok extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us in creating these moments and for being part of the very first chapter of our journey!

• Watthu-Dib Bistro & Bar เปิดให้บริการทุกวันพฤหัสบดี–วันจันทร์ เวลา 10.00–19.00 น.
• ชมผลงาน MEMORY (2025) โดย Sho Shibuya บนกำแพงศิลปะที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในประเทศไทย และ Pars pro Toto โดย Alicja Kwade ณ ลานกลางแจ้งของพิพิธภัณฑ์
• ในช่วงเย็น โปรแกรมแสง Straight Up โดย James Turrell ยังคงจัดแสดงทุกวันทำการ

While Dib Bangkok’s main galleries are temporarily closed as we prepare for our next exhibition, there are still plenty of reasons to visit.

• Watthu-Dib Bistro & Bar is open from Thursday to Monday, 10.00–19.00.
• See Sho Shibuya’s MEMORY (2025) across Thailand’s largest art wall, and Alicja Kwade’s Pars pro Toto in the courtyard.
• In the evening, James Turrell’s Straight Up light program continues daily.

The main galleries may be taking a short pause, but there is still more to experience at Dib Bangkok.

สำหรับ พาโลมา วาร์กา ไวซ์ ศิลปินเปรียบเสมือนภาชนะที่หลอมรวมทุกประสบการณ์ สิ่งที่ได้พบเห็น และสิ่งที่ได้เรียนรู้เข้าไว้ด้วยกัน Bumpman on a Tree Trunk, 2018 จึงไม่ได้มีความหมายตายตัว แต่เป็นคำเชื้อเชิญให้ผู้ชมแต่ละคนเข้ามาค้นพบความหมายในแบบของตัวเอง ลองนั่งข้างเขา มองท้องฟ้าในมุมเดียวกัน แล้วดูว่าผลงานจะพาคุณไปที่ไหน

For Paloma Varga Weisz, an artist is a vessel, bringing together everything they have experienced, seen, and learned. Bumpman on a Tree Trunk, 2018, carries those traces too—not as a fixed meaning, but as an invitation. Take a seat, look toward the same sky, and see where the work takes you.

In this episode, conservator Kathrin Suendermann shares how contemporary conservation goes beyond restoration. It means understanding materials, anticipating change, and preserving the artist's intent for generations to come.
