We are pleased to announce Mouseion, Cias new solo exhibition. Five years after his last exhibition, returns with a new body of work rooted in his longstanding fascination with Greek mythology and the extraordinary narratives that have shaped our understanding of the human condition across time.

The word Mouseion originates from Ancient Greek and literally means “place of the Muses”. Daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, the Muses were the deities of poetry, music, history, the arts, and the many forms of knowledge and creation. At the heart of the Mouseion lies a relationship between inspiration and memory; between what is inherited and what, through creation, we choose to preserve.
