-'Rebussados is the title of the new exhibition by Os Espacialistas + Gonçalo M. Tavares.
Images, words and objects, drawn from diverse real and imaginary sources, emerge from the space of the books created together and will be presented at the Carlos Carvalho Arte Contemporânea gallery in the form of rebus puzzles. Rebussados is an exhibition of “sweets” for the poetic imagination of everyday life, where relationships of communion between body-space, face-mask, gesture-object and image-text, in a state of permanent displacement, unravel hidden forms of intimate resistance for life.
Through one and many forms of attention, Os Espacialistas + Gonçalo M. Tavares invite us to return to the primitive garden of writing and to exercise our capacity to imagine one another through the conversations scattered throughout the gallery.'
