Building a more accessible and inclusive tourism experience starts with understanding.

The Quezon City Tourism Department invites tourism frontliners to a 2-day Disability Awareness and Sensitivity Training & Filipino Sign Language (FSL) program designed to strengthen awareness, confidence, and communication when serving Deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors in tourism and museum settings.

In celebration of Philippine Film Industry Month, Screen QC brings back See Kyusi: Byaheng Pelikula, a film heritage tour that celebrates and deepens our appreciation for Quezon City’s significant role in Philippine cinema and cultural heritage.

This time, we’re opening the tour to the public and it’s completely FREE.

Explore key film institutions, production facilities, and historical sites across Quezon City, and also get a hands-on experience with industry-standard facilities and equipment used in film production and restoration:

𝗔𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗺𝗼, 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘆’𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲.

Today, August 21, we commemorate Ninoy Aquino Day to remember the life and bravery of Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. His assassination in 1983 became a turning point in Philippine history that led to the events of the 1986 People Power Revolution.

We at Bahay Modernismo, remember Ninoy through a place that was once home to the Aquino family.

The museum is a reconstruction of the Aquinos’ former residence at 25 Times Street, a split-level bungalow rebuilt using some original architectural fragments. The house reflects the symbolic shift towards postwar modernism and the changing ways Filipinos lived in mid-century Quezon City.

Together, let us remember the life and contributions of Ninoy Aquino to democracy and the Filipino people.
