BULAKAN - Ang Pambansang Komisyong Pangkasaysayan ng Pilipinas
at Pamahalaang Bayan ng Bulakan sa pakikipagtulungan ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Bulacan at ng Samahang Pangkalinangan ng Bulakn (KABESERA), Inc. ay nakikiisa sa nalalapit na pagdiriwang ng ika-150 Anibersaryo ng Kapanganakan ni Anacleto Enriquez na may temang “Sulyap kay Matanglawin: Pagpupugay sa 150 Taong Kabayanihan ni Anacleto Enriquez” na gaganapin sa 25 Setyembre 2026, 8:00 n.u. sa Mababang Paaralan ng Tabang, San Francisco, Bulakan, Bulacan.

Isinilang si Anacleto "Matanglawin" Enriquez noong 25 Setyembre 1876 sa Bulakan, Bulacan. Isa sa mga kabataang pinuno ng Himagsikang Pilipino laban sa mga Espanyol. Sa kabila ng kanyang kabataan, naging maagang kasapi siya ng Katipunan kasama ang kanyang kapatid na si Vicente at matalik na kaibigang si Gregorio del Pilar, kung saan pinamunuan niya ang maraming matagumpay na pag-atake laban sa pwersa ng Espanya sa lalawigan ng Bulacan. Dumating ang sukdulan ng kanyang kabayanihan noong Nobyembre 30, 1896, nang pamunuan niya ang makasaysayang Labanan sa San Rafael, kung saan nagkubli ang kanyang pangkat sa hukbo ng simbahan ng San Juan de Dios at nakipaglaban hanggang sa kanyang pagpanaw siya sa edad na 20 taong gulang. Ang kanyang matapang na pagbubuwis ng buhay ang nagsilbing inspirasyon kay Gregorio del Pilar at iba pang bayaning rebolusyonaryo sa lalawigan ng Bulacan upang ipagpatuloy ang pakikipaglaban para sa kalayaan ng bansa.

Bilang pakikiisa sa paggunita sa ika-150 anibersaryo ng kapanganakan ni Anacleto Enriquez, inihahandog ng NHCP Dambanang Marcelo H. del Pilar at ng KABESERA (Samahang Pangkalinangan ng Bulakan) Inc. ang isang lekturang pang-alaala para kay Matanglawin na pinamagatang, "Kabayanihan ni Anacleto Enriquez, Huwaran para sa Kabataan" ni Dr. Roberto Enriquez Reyes, Doctor of Public Administration, Professorial Lecture, UP Diliman in Pampanga sa ika-25 Setyembre 2026, 3:00 n.h. sa Museo ni Marcelo H. del Pilar, San Nicolas, Bulakan, Bulacan.

Inaanyayahan ang publiko na dumalo sa nasabing lekturang pang-alala at kasaysayan upang sariwain ang kabayanihan ni Anacleto "Matanglawin" Enriquez.

Now on view at the Ayala Museum 2F lobby, “LOLO MARCELO: THE MAN BEHIND THE HERO (Reflections on the Legacy of Marcelo H. Del Pilar)” takes a second look at the historical figure of Marcelo H. Del Pilar.

Guest-curated by Pax Pineda, the great-great-great-grandson of Marcelo H. Del Pilar, this exhibit delves into Del Pilar’s story not just as a hero who spent his life fighting for justice and representation for his country, but as a devoted father and husband who willingly sacrificed time with his family, his health, and his personal resources for a cause greater than himself—a story that still resonates with Filipinos today.

This exhibit is supported by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines and the NHCP Museo ni Marcelo H. del Pilar.

The Marcelo H. del Pilar Shrine - Museo ni Marcelo H. del Pilar flies the National Flag at half-mast to mark the passing of Resil B. Mojares, National Artist for Literature.

This is pursuant to Section 27 (k), Chapter I of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 8491 or the Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines. As a National Artist, he will be given a State Funeral at the Cebu Memorial Parks and Gardens today.

The Marcelo H. del Pilar Shrine - Museo ni Marcelo H. del Pilar joins the nation in bidding farewell to Resil B. Mojares, National Artist for Literature and distinguished historian whose scholarship and writings enriched our understanding of Philippine history, literature, and culture. His enduring legacy will continue to inspire generations of Filipinos.

𝓖𝓮𝓽𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓽𝓸 𝓴𝓷𝓸𝔀 ‘𝓛𝓸𝓵𝓸 𝓜𝓪𝓻𝓬𝓮𝓵𝓸’

The NHCP together with the Ayala Museum recently opened the exhibit ‘Lolo Marcelo, The Man behind the Hero’ Reflections on the Legacy of Marcelo H. Del Pilar last 4 September 2026 at the Ayala Museum, Makati City.

Curating the exhibit is the great-great-great grandson of the hero himself, Pax Pineda, who designed the exhibition to show how he knew his Lolo. The exhibit features Del Pilar more than the hero and propagandist that he was known for, but a husband and father who cared deeply for his family and greatly missed them while he was in Spain.

‘Plaridel,’ was actively discussed during a dialogue participated in by the descendants, the Ayala Museum and the NHCP Museo ni Marcelo H. Del Pilar. In attendance were the media, the public, other descendants of Del Pilar, and writer of Bayani Biographies featuring Marcelo H. Del Pilar, Dr. Jose Victor Torres.

The NHCP generously loaned the artifacts on display and other museum pieces for the exhibit running until 18 October 2026 at the 2F Lobby of the Ayala Museum.
