Via CareX en HaViK heeft een groep kunstenaars het pand geschikt gemaakt als atelierpand. Er zijn 9 werkruimtes gemaakt met een bijzondere expositieruimte.

We zijn een kunstenaarscollectief en we hebben een mooie expositieruimte tot onze beschikking aan de rand van Groningen-centrum. De gehele ruimte kost 120 euro per maand, dit is voor één persoon veel ruimte en misschien ook wel veel geld. Wellicht ken je zelf mensen die samen met jou van onze ruimte gebruik willen maken, maar ook wij kunnen je indelen in een groepsexpositie. Je zult wel zelf moete

n suppoosten en je werk is niet verzekerd. Er zijn niet veel plekken in de stad Groningen waar je redelijk betaalbaar je kunst in een grote ruimte dichtbij het centrum kunt promoten. Dat gat willen wij vullen en jouw werk zou een goede bijdrage hieraan kunnen leveren. De ruimte is te gebruiken voor twee weken tot een maand. Als je interesse hebt kun je een afspraak maken om een keer te komen kijken.

𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘆 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱:
Prophesy Playground is an alternative-folk project founded by guitarist singer-songwriter and composer Or Izekson. Combining gentle melancholic songs and instrumental themes composed on various tuning alterations, Prophecy Playground’s artistic vision presents a semi forgotten- semi newly imagined sound. With a subtle blend of Folk, Blues and Classical music influences, Prophecy Playground's creations deliver a Neo-Folk climax: elaborative, yet focuses on a strictly acoustic production, which emphasizes skillful acoustic guitar compositions together with enigmatic string-section arrangements. What eventually surfaces is a kind of sound which combines the melancholic with mysterious, and mellow with dramatic - thus offering a unique take on contemporary Folk music.

From psychedelic krautrock to free-jazz freak-outs to funk-infused downtempo jams, 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙨 endeavors to smash every show as if it was their last.
Hailing from Melbourne (AUS) the band maintains a strict DIY recording ethic (i.e. the band records and mixes its music itself!) and has come with a handful of global releases. The two most recent albums were on UK’s acclaimed Soul Jazz Records. This makes 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙨 the first ever Australian act to sign with this label.

It gets strong support from Australian community radio but also from abroad, for instance from Mojo UK, Uncut Magazine, KEXP and BBC Radio. As a result of this recognition the band has shared stage with some of their favourite international acts such as Kikagaku Moyo (Japan), Earthless (USA), Frankie and the Witchfingers (USA), Minami Deutsch (Japan) and Yawning Man (USA).
Recently 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙨 performed at the Meredith Music Festival (check YouTube-links) and Melbourne International Jazz Festival.
Following their 2023 album 'Solitary Transmissions', a string of sold out singles and successful live shows, 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙨 has returned with a new full length release 'Cosmic Seeds'. This album has been recorded and mixed by the band itself in the DIY tradition of 1960s-1970s. Whilst reflecting strong democratic musicality, the trio branch even further out from their trademark motorik leanings, and venture deeper into funk and jazz flavored territories with moog-driven melodies and beyond.

𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝙆𝙤𝙧𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙁𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙘ı 𝗲𝗻 𝘽𝙖𝙧ı𝙨̧ 𝙀𝙧𝙩𝙪̈𝙧𝙠.:
Two master saxophonists from Istanbul with years of shared experience, Korhan Fitacı (alto sax) and Barış Ertürk (baritone sax) bring a rare level of depth and intuition to the stage. Having performed together for a long time, they play with the ease and tension of musicians who know each other's instincts inside out.

The duo becomes one body, shaping dramatic textures through fearless virtuosity. Baritone and alto saxophones collide, converse, and dissolve between raw, hard-edged power and soft, atmospheric subtlety, occasionally colored by kaval, flute and small percussion.

Their improvisational interplay grows into complex forms and melodic structures, creating a live experience that's both electrifying and intimate. A captivating set perfectly suited for intimate club audiences seeking adventurous, high-caliber improvisation.
