Courtesy of MassHaus Art Space and Studio by Aboud Fares, here is another sneak peek, this time of the main installation piece 𝙊𝙣 𝙈𝙮 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙙 - 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙣, designed to be flexible to fit spaces of any orientation. For the exhibition, it has been arranged to fit the elongated space that is MASSHAUS

Here is a sneak peek at what you will see at 𝙊𝙣 𝙈𝙮 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙙, the upcoming solo by Penang-based sculptor Aboud Fares. The exhibition opens at 7 PM, this Friday, 31 July 2026, at MASSHAUS, located at 147A Lebuh Victoria in George Town, Penang. Following the opening, the exhibition continues its run until 23 August 2026

Artemis Art is thrilled to be one of the collaboration partners for the exhibition, alongside Penang Art District and MASSHAUS. In his latest body of work, Aboud depicts the rich historical architecture of George Town, where he has resided for more than a decade, not as accurate or specific architectural representations, but as recollective vignettes of the landscape he has become familiar with on a subconscious level, simply through daily exposure to the many historical buildings scattered throughout the city

MAASSHAUS is open on Fridays – Sundays, 5 – 10 PM, and by appointment on other days (contact them through their Instagram presence at MassHaus Art Space and Studio by Aboud Fares)

It was nice catching up with Suanjaya Kencut (Suanjaya Kencut) and RYOL (Ryo Laksamana) who came by with two of their young artists friends Oggzgoy (oggzgoy) and Fajar Amali (Fajar Amali)

Sometimes the past catching up with you isn’t a bad thing. Particularly when it’s two artists we’ve previously shown early in their respective careers pay us a visit during Chapter Jogja 2026.
