La galleria z2o Sara Zanin è stata fondata nell’ottobre 2006 da Sara Zanin.

Con la sede originariamente in zona Colosseo, a febbraio 2012 si è spostata nel prestigioso spazio di 140 mq di Via della Vetrina 21 nel cuore di Roma (Piazza Navona). Sin dagli esordi, ha proposto un programma espositivo finalizzato alla ricerca e promozione di giovani artisti che utilizzano media diversi, dalla pittura alla fotografia, dalla video-installazione alla performance. Le mostre proposte da z2o nascono sempre da progetti site specific appositamente studiati dagli artisti per lo spazio della galleria. z2o Sara Zanin si è affermata negli ultimi anni non solo attraverso una intesa programmazione in galleria ma anche attraverso la partecipazione alle principali fiere italiane e ad importanti collaborazioni con enti museali nazionali con prestiti di opere e condivisione di progetti espositivi.

Each element seems to occupy its place naturally, yet it is precisely this apparent simplicity that reveals the work’s ability to activate the entire environment. The exhibition therefore invites a slow mode of looking, in which sculpture and drawing meet not through similarity, but through attitude: both are forms of apparition, different ways of making visible that which remains suspended between matter, time, and intuition.

Moscariello’s artistic practice revolves around perception and the ability of painting to destabilise the boundary between reality and artifice. Using trompe l’œil techniques, Moscariello creates images in which surface and depth, material and representation continuously overlap.

Giovanni Kronenberg

The exhibition brings together a body of recent works through which the artist continues his investigation into sculpture, drawing, and the capacity of forms to manifest themselves as autonomous presences, suspended between matter, intuition, and appearance. In Kronenberg’s practice, objects are never simply assembled, nor reduced to fragments to be recomposed: they are brought into proximity, placed in relation to one another, and at times only minimally altered, until they arrive at an unexpected state of equilibrium.

Rethinking romanticism in contemporary art, a group exhibition featuring works by Michele Tocca, curated by Elena Volpato, at CAMeC, La Spezia.

Special talk between curator Elena Volpato and artists Michele Tocca and Pesce Khete, the two youngest artists featured in the exhibition Rethinking Romanticism in Contemporary Art.

On Saturday, September 12, as the exhibition enters its final days, they present the second event in L’OLTRE. Conversations with the Artists.

Elena Volpato will meet Pesce Khete and Michele Tocca to explore their artistic practices and the ways in which painting, landscape, memory, and perception intersect with the themes of the exhibition.

The conversation will also offer an opportunity to reconsider Romanticism not as a concluded historical period, but as a sensibility that continues to resonate in the present
