A glorious masterpiece of sacred woodcarving is complete, crafted in our Mussner G. Vincenzo workshop.

Our newly completed reliquary sculpture of Saint Frances Cabrini combines generations of master woodcarving tradition with deep faith. Hand-carved from fine wood with meticulous care, every detail is fully decorated with genuine gold leaf and real leaf silver.

From a Single Block of Wood to Saint Rusticus

We are thrilled to share a behind-the-scenes look at one of our past projects: a hand-carved statue of the Roman soldier, Saint Rusticus, created for a church in Italy.

The Beginning: We started with a single, assembled block of wood, carefully selecting the right piece to honor the history and strength of this Roman saint.

The Rough Cut: The early stages are all about blocking out the shape. Using larger tools, we slowly reveal the basic silhouette of the soldier hidden within the wood.

Refining the Details: Step by step, the carving becomes more precise. We shift to finer chisels to bring out the intricate details of his armor, expression, and posture.

Crafting sacred art like this is always a deeply rewarding process. We are honored that this statue found its home in a church, serving as a symbol of faith and history for years to come.

A masterful piece of art is not created overnight – it requires patience, precision, and true craftsmanship.

We are thrilled to present one of our past projects at the Mussner G. Vincenzo art studio: the statue of St. Benedict, Patron Saint of Europe.

Our journey from the initial idea to the final masterpiece:

The Modeling: With great attention to detail, we first modeled the figure entirely by hand in our workshop to perfectly capture the character and dignity of the saint.

The Bronze Casting: Once the model was perfected, it was cast in noble bronze – a centuries-old technique that guarantees durability and timeless beauty.

A huge thank you to our team and everyone involved for their dedication and the passion that went into this beautiful project!

On this special anniversary of Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati, we remember a young man whose life continues to inspire people around the world with his faith, charity, courage, and joyful spirit.

His motto, "Verso l'Alto" – "To the Heights!", reminds us to strive for holiness in our everyday lives.

To honor his legacy, we create fully hand-carved wooden statues of Saint Pier Giorgio exclusively on commission. Each statue is individually crafted according to our clients' wishes—in any size and in the representation they envision, whether as the passionate mountaineer or as the elegant young man in a suit.

Today we celebrate Saints Peter and Paul, two of the most influential figures in Christian history. Their faith, courage, and dedication continue to inspire generations around the world.

A few years ago, we had the great honor of hand-carving two large wooden statues of these remarkable saints for a church. Every detail was crafted with care, respect, and devotion, bringing their timeless legacy to life through traditional craftsmanship.

Creating sacred art is more than woodworking—it is a way of preserving faith, history, and beauty for future generations. We are grateful to have been part of this meaningful project.
