Johannes Bosisio at GAP House 57 💥

We are pleased to share Johannes Bosisio’s participation in GAP House 57, a temporary exhibition project taking over a historic industrial building in Berlin-Lichtenberg and transforming it into a space for art, performance and cultural exchange.

For the exhibition, Bosisio presents his work alongside Hannah Sophie Dunkelberg, Eike König, Lena Valenzuela and Allistair Walter, responding to a context shaped by experimentation, exchange and the temporary occupation of space.

GAP House approaches the building not as a permanent exhibition venue, but as a place activated for a limited period through artistic interventions and encounters, a setting that resonates particularly with Bosisio’s ongoing investigation into material, structure and transformation.

The project opened the 20 August 2026 and will be on until 6 September 2026.

A special moment for Teodora Axente in Siena.

Her Drappellone for the Palio di Siena, 16 August 2026 has been unveiled in the Cortile del Podestà at Palazzo Pubblico. Dedicated to the Madonna dell’Assunta and marking the 500th anniversary of the Battle of Camollia, the work brings Teodora’s distinctive pictorial language into dialogue with Siena’s artistic, spiritual and civic traditions.

At the centre of the composition, the Virgin protects the Golden Rose offered to Siena by Pope Pius II. Around her, cherubs, fish and the seventeen Contrade come together in an image shaped by metamorphosis, light and symbolism. References to Simone Martini, Jacopo della Quercia and the great tradition of Sienese painting meet Teodora’s contemporary language, bringing past and present into dialogue.

The commission marks an important new chapter in Teodora’s longstanding relationship with Siena, following a series of projects in the city, including her exhibition at Santa Maria della Scala. The Drappellone feels like a natural culmination of this ongoing dialogue with Siena, its history, its painting and its spiritual traditions.

We are very proud to see Teodora’s work become part of one of Siena’s most deeply rooted traditions. ❤️

We are pleased to share “On Liberty: A Summoning”, a site-responsive exhibition and performance project by artist Marianne Vitale, at 818 Liberty Avenue in Pittsburgh.

Rooted in the social and cultural history of the building—which over the decades housed a succession of nightlife and performance venues—the project brings together sculpture, performance, film and printed matter, while reactivating the space through a series of live events.
At its core is a new body of sculptures fabricated from decommissioned American locomotives. Steel plating and industrial components are cut and reconfigured into architectural forms throughout the exhibition, alongside paintings, images and ephemera that connect Vitale’s work with the history of the site.
The exhibition remains open as a sculptural environment and transforms into a functioning club during five Final Fridays until 11 October 2026.

The exhibition is guest curated by Benjamin Tischer in collaboration with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust

“The Ladin Entanglement”

MusLa – Museum Ladin, San Martino in Badia

We are pleased to share that Arnold Holzknecht is participating in “The Ladin Entanglement”, the eighth edition of Trienala Ladina, curated by Andrea Lerda, where he is also the recipient of the Richard Agreiter Prize. The exhibition brings together artists of Ladin origin to explore singing and music as fundamental expressions of Ladin culture, alongside a special installation by plurale.

For this occasion, Holzknecht presents a new body of sculptural works that continues his exploration of organic forms, vernacular materials and the subtle relationships between nature, memory and imagination. His works inhabit the exhibition with a quiet presence, inviting attentive observation and slow encounters.

With works by Arnold Holzknecht, Barbara Tavella, Ernestina Abbühl, Isabell Pitscheider, Tobias Tavella, Fabian Feichter & Youlee Ku, and a special project by plurale.

SAVE THE DATE 💥

Galleria Doris Ghetta is pleased to present “ONDES”, new solo exhibition, opening Friday, 24 July 2026, at 7 pm at our Pontives venue.

Marking the artist’s return to the gallery after “tl nia” (2023), the exhibition brings together a new body of wooden sculptures and works combining wood and weaving. Inspired by Moroder’s observations of the ocean during a stay in Sri Lanka, “ONDES” reflects on transformation, movement, and the cyclical rhythms of nature.

We look forward to welcoming you!
