Nell'illustrazione ho voluto rappresentare un incontro casuale: il grande teropode, con il muso macchiato di sangue, si รจ presumibilmente nutrito da poco. L'anchilosauro, sorpreso dal passaggio del carnivoro mentre beveva, agita prontamente la coda a forma di mazza come deterrente. Il tirannosauro non ha alcuna intenzione di attaccare l'erbivoro, ma continua per la sua strada, segnalando la sua formidabile presenza con un verso. L'๐๐ฏ๐ฌ๐บ๐ญ๐ฐ๐ด๐ข๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ด rimane cautamente in guardia."

โข Descrizione: "La scena, collocata nella Cedar Mountain formation nel Cretaceo inferiore rappresenta un agguato ad un ๐๐จ๐ถ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ค๐ฐ๐ญ๐ฐ๐ด๐ด๐ถ๐ด ๐ง๐ฐ๐ณ๐ต๐ช๐ด da parte di una coppia di ๐๐ต๐ข๐ฉ๐ณ๐ข๐ฑ๐ต๐ฐ๐ณ. In particolare il titolo richiama i ruoli nellโagguato dei due grossi dromaeosauridi. Il primo, a fauci spalancate e arti superiori aperti, cattura lโattenzione dellโerbivoro, che, date le dimensioni, non pare particolarmente impensierito dallโaggressivitร del predatore. Tuttavia, alle sue spalle, parzialmente coperto da un cycas, un secondo ๐๐ต๐ข๐ฉ๐ณ๐ข๐ฑ๐ต๐ฐ๐ณ, si muove lentamente e in silenzio, pronto a cogliere il grosso erbivoro alle spalle."
