La galleria è lieta di presentare una stimolante doppia esposizione che esplora il panorama artistico contemporaneo attraverso due prospettive complementari e profonde.

Il percorso si apre con un’ampia mostra collettiva curata da Patricia Cancelo, che riunisce un gruppo selezionato di artisti contemporanei. Attraverso stili, tecniche e linguaggi differenti, le opere offrono una visione ricca e sfaccettata della scena creativa odierna.

In dialogo con la collettiva, lo spazio ospita la mostra personale dell’artista SOHI, il cui lavoro affonda le radici nella memoria. Nata in Iran e cresciuta in Danimarca, l’artista ha vissuto tra culture e visioni del mondo differenti, un vissuto che plasma profondamente il suo modo di dipingere.

The gallery is pleased to present an inspiring duo exhibition exploring the contemporary art scene through two complementary and profound perspectives.

The exhibition opens with a comprehensive group show curated by Patricia Cancelo, bringing together a select group of contemporary artists. Through a variety of styles, techniques, and visual languages, the artworks offer a rich and multifaceted vision of today’s creative landscape.

In dialogue with the group show, the space hosts a solo exhibition by the artist SOHI, whose work is deeply rooted in memory. Born in Iran and raised in Denmark, the artist has lived between different cultures and worldviews—an experience that profoundly shapes her approach to painting.

“OVERSIZE” – Mostra di grande formato

La terza edizione di “Oversize”, mostra dedicata al grande formato approda in una cornice straordinaria: la Fortezza Firmafede di Sarzana.
Il progetto arriva qui dopo il l’esposizione del Museo d’Arte Contemporanea di Calice Ligure e, prima ancora, a Milano, presso l’iKonica Art Gallery che anche in questa occasione ha curato la selezione degli artisti.

Ma perché il grande formato? Qual è il fil rouge che unisce gli artisti presenti? La risposta sta nell’impatto: la grande dimensione si trasforma in una vera e propria immersione visiva per lo spettatore. Il formato “Oversize” di queste opere rompe i confini dello spazio circostante, fa perdere i punti di riferimento esterni e costringe a entrare nell’opera. Questa mostra nasce perché vi sentiate esattamente così: avvolti, catturati dagli artisti e dai loro linguaggi.

“OVERSIZE” – Large Format Exhibition

The third edition of “Oversize”, an exhibition dedicated to large formats, arrives in an extraordinary setting: the Firmafede Fortress in Sarzana.
The project reaches Sarzana following its exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Calice Ligure and, prior to that, in Milan at the iKonica Art Gallery, which curated the artist selection for this occasion as well.

But why the large format? What is the common thread connecting the participating artists? The answer lies in impact: large scale transforms into a true visual immersion for the viewer. The “Oversize” format of these works breaks the boundaries of the surrounding space, stripping away external reference points and compelling you to step inside the artwork. This exhibition was created so you would feel exactly that way: enveloped and captivated by the artists and their visual languages.

Siamo felici di riaprire dopo la pausa estiva con la IV edizione di “Collettiva 04”, il percorso espositivo curato da Giacomo Gentilcore.
Dopo il successo della precedente edizione, torna il progetto dedicato all’uso di un singolo colore: abbandonato il rosso, questa volta la galleria si veste interamente di blu, creando un dialogo visivo immediato tra opere, linguaggi e stili anche molto distanti, accomunati dal medesimo riferimento cromatico.

Il vernissage si terrà Martedì 1 Settembre dalle ore 18.00

We are happy to reopen after the summer break with the 4th edition of “Collettiva 04”, the exhibition curated by Giacomo Gentilcore.
Following the success of the previous edition, the project dedicated to the use of a single color returns: moving away from red, this time the gallery is fully dressed in blue, creating an immediate visual dialogue between works, mediums, and styles—even those far apart—united by the same chromatic reference.

The opening will take place on Tuesday, September 1st, starting at 6:00 PM.
