The exhibition In The Half Light / Forms of Apparition by Nicol Vizioli presents photographs, videos and, for the first time, bronze sculptures.
The works stem from an exploration of perception, darkness and apparition, developed during a residency in Iceland. Through traditional photographic techniques, liquid emulsions and encaustic, the artist creates images that explore the relationship between presence and absence, memory and transformation. The sculptures and the use of wax evoke relics and traces of past presences, whilst the video makes the invisible perceptible. The entire exhibition invites reflection on intuition, solitude and the spiritual dimension of knowledge.
