«Avevo appuntato un programma di massima sul retro di una busta» — ci racconta Daniela Zangrando — «con cose da fare, persone da vedere, luoghi da visitare. Era una di quelle liste dove qualcosa non torna mai. Mi annoiava anche un po’.
Volevo capire, grattando quella superficie, quale potesse essere il centro per Leonardo e per il museo. Sicuramente lo stare bene, insieme. Magari vi può sembrare una frase un po’ banale, ma non la sento tale. Perché credo che solo così possano nascere domande e risposte potenti, possa esserci costruzione e confronto. E da quell’agio partire per lavorare, discutere sulle parole che meglio descrivono la ricerca che Leonardo sta portando avanti, vagare tra le presenze del Pont de la Mortis o del Pian delle Comelle, tra i corti di Lago Film Fest o a Venezia tra i linguaggi di Jafa, Prince, Chicago, Ben Hamouda, Kantarovsky, perderci a ragionare con un artista o in mezzo ai papaveri alpini, aprirci all’imprevedibilità degli incontri.»
«I had sketched out a rough programme on the back of an envelope,” Daniela Zangrando tells us, “with things to do, people to meet, places to visit. It was one of those lists where something never quite adds up. It bored me a little, too.
I wanted to understand, by scratching beneath that surface, what could be at the centre of it all for Leonardo and for the museum. Of course, feeling good, together. It may sound like a somewhat banal statement, but I don’t feel it is. Because I believe that only in this way can powerful questions and answers emerge, can things be built and ideas exchanged. And from that sense of ease, one can begin to work, to discuss the words that best describe the research Leonardo is pursuing, to wander among the presences of Pont de la Mortis or Pian delle Comelle, among the short films of Lago Film Fest or, in Venice, through the languages of Jafa, Prince, Chicago, Ben Hamouda, and Kantarovsky; to lose ourselves in conversations with an artist or among the alpine poppies, opening ourselves up to unpredictable encounters.»

È arrivato il momento di raccontarvi un po’ di più di un progetto di cui vi abbiamo accennato nelle nostre storie. Si chiama MICRO-RESIDENZA.
Cos’è? È uno spazio dedicato al pensiero critico e alla libera esplorazione.
Per chi è? Per giovani artistə, curatorə, ma non solo. Si rivolge più in generale a figure legate in modi diversi al mondo delle arti contemporanee.
Si dedica a chi può trarre beneficio da un focus sull’attenzione, sul tempo, sul dialogo e sul confronto, sulla cura.
MICRO-RESIDENZA è il respiro di una settimana. Su misura.
Ne sapete ancora troppo poco? Seguiteci perché i prossimi post vi racconteranno della prima micro-residenza, quella di Leonardo Piadena, giovane artista mantovano che è stato con noi dal 20 al 26 luglio.

It’s time to tell you a little more about a project we’ve already hinted at in our stories. It’s called MICRO-RESIDENZA (Micro-Residency).
What is it? A space dedicated to critical thinking and free exploration.
Who is it for? Young artists, curators, and beyond. More broadly, it is intended for people connected in different ways to the world of contemporary art.
It is designed for those who can benefit from a focus on attention, time, dialogue and exchange, and care.
MICRO-RESIDENCY is the breath of a week. Tailored to each participant.
Still curious? Follow us, because our next posts will tell you about the very first micro-residency: that of Leonardo Piadena, a young artist from Mantua, who was with us from 20 to 26 July.

GIORNALETTO CLANDESTINO FINAL DJ SET è stato davvero un aperitivo danzante!
Pieno di energie, sorrisi, stupore, amicə del museo arrivatə anche da lontano, magliette a tema Burel, passaggi di calcio… ci siamo sentitə proprio una squadra!
E, se non siete statə tra noi, perdetevi tra le foto di Francesco Titton che sicuramente vi racconteranno un po’ questa serata!
Ringraziamo tantissimo Gabriele Gei, P4PS e Marco Zangrando… che bellezza ascoltarvi e ballare! Che forza! Non ci basta mai!

Avreste mai creduto che ci fosse un gallo a girare gli ingranaggi del mondo?
Non è soltanto l’animale protagonista del quarto numero di GIORNALETTO CLANDESTINO. Accanto a lui abbiamo capito che tutto ha un tempo, compresa la notte, e che ad attenderci ci sarà sempre il calore di una nuova alba. Fatta magari di resistenze – ce l’ha raccontato Smaranda Chifu nel suo testo – o di canti, come quelli sulla soglia tra animale e umano di Marcus Coates.
Adesso è già l’ora di una nuova presenza. Sabato 13 giugno uscirà l’ultimo numero di GIORNALETTO CLANDESTINO e già ci immaginiamo di leggerlo e parlarne assieme al museo, o di ritrovarlo in città. Mancano pochissimi giorni. Segnatevi la data e non mancate! Vi aspettiamo!

Did you ever imagine that a rooster might be turning the gears of the world?
It is not only the central figure of the fourth issue of GIORNALETTO CLANDESTINO (Clandestine Little Zine). With it, we have come to understand that everything has its own time — including the night — and that the warmth of a new dawn will always be waiting for us. A dawn made perhaps of acts of resistance, as Smaranda Chifu tells us in her text, or of songs, like those explored by Marcus Coates on the threshold between the animal and the human.
And now it is already time for a new presence. On Saturday, June 13, the final issue of GIORNALETTO CLANDESTINO (Clandestine Little Zine) will be released. We are already imagining ourselves reading it together and discussing it at the museum, or coming across it around the city. Just a few days to go. Save the date and don’t miss it. We look forward to seeing you!
