Blueprint12 is an artist-centric contemporary art gallery dedicated to the South Asian experience. With a vision that transcends the borders between nations and focuses on the commonalities in the art practices of the region, we are committed to introducing collectors and enthusiasts to both emerging and established artists that are pushing the boundaries. Founded by Mandira Lamba and Ridhi Bhall

a in 2012, Blueprint 12’s objectives are based on the pillars of transparency, collaboration and following our heart. We have been inspired by our artists to set up a residency program in Vadodara (2013-2017) and have also launched our Platform section, where we showcase emerging talent with non-exclusive representation and offer our expertise to a new generation of collectors.

Rewati Shahani’s (Rewati Shahani) artistic practice emerges from a sustained engagement with questions of identity and collective action.

Central to the exhibition are sculptural heads, contorted in anguish evoking the energy and urgency of public demonstrations while simultaneously reflecting on their limitations. Along with them are Shahani’s body prints, which register the trace of the artist’s physical presence.

Together these works insist upon visibility, solidarity and the ongoing urgent necessity of resistance, offering a compelling reflection on the role of art in moments of political uncertainty.

Blueprint12 x CultivateArt (Cultivate Art) is pleased to present Rewati Shahani’s practice moves across sculpture, print and performance, shaped here by the resurgence of right-wing politics — protest that resists easy didacticism.

Before the show opens, here’s a glimpse behind the scenes, the work of hanging, spacing and sequencing that gives the exhibition its shape long before the first visitor walks in.

We look forward to welcoming you today.

Preview: 6th August, 5 PM onwards

We congratulate our artist, Avantika Bawa (Avantika Bawa), on unveiling her installation, Blue Scaffolds in the Zbayul, at the inaugural edition of sā Ladakh (sā Ladakh Biennale).

Bawa’s practise takes on a site-responsive approach entering into a dialogue with the valley’s contours and defunct man-made structures. Blue Scaffolds in the Zbayul responds to the region’s terrain and spatial conditions, opening questions around material, scale, and the experience of place.

We also extend our heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to Raki Nikahetiya, Tenzin Jamyang, Sagardeep Singh, Vishal Dhar and the entire sā Ladakh team for bringing this remarkable inaugural biennale to life.

𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 | NOW OPEN

A fundraising exhibition curated by Saloni Doshi (Saloni Doshi), the artists in this exhibition turn toward the organic, toward growth, erosion, cycles, and the fragile intelligence of natural systems. The Shifting of Silence explores the subtle boundary between presence and absence, between what is spoken and what is felt. Landscapes, bodies, and materials emerge as living archives, holding memory, resilience, and transformation within their textures.

Proceeds from the exhibition will support the Space118 Fine Arts Grant, which provides financial assistance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to emerging artists across India.

Presented by Blueprint12 in collaboration with Space118 Foundation (Space 118 Art Foundation).
