I am sorry to inform you that NÖF (Hungarian State holding company) suddenly cancelled my rental contract with this Chateau in February 2023. I rented the Chateau in June 2012 and in September the same year the President of Finland, Mr Sauli Niinistö, came to open this private museum I had created in the beautiful salons of the Chateau. The Chateau was used as a private summer cult
ural center hosting international artist's camp, art exhibitions, concerts, opera and ballet masterclasses and other events. Also the room of the Baroness Sibil von Manteuffel-Szoege has been evacuated from the Chateau. Sadly the Chateau is now totally empty and closed from the visitors. The Amadé-Bajzáth-Pappenheim Chateau used to be open for the public during the three summer months, June, July and August only by request. In the ground floor the Chateau used to host Ari Kupsus Gallery from Budapest, upstairs in the Stately Rooms there were memorial rooms of the Finnish Embassy (the Embassy was working in the Chateau during the WW II) and the private summer residence of Mr Kupsus. The Stately Rooms and other salons upstairs have frescoes and were lavishly furnished with the baroque, empire and Ludvig XVI furniture and pieces of art from the original period, all before year 1860. The gain was to create the original, living interiors, like the count's family would be still living in these rooms and salons. Sajnálattal közlöm, hogy a NÖF (Magyar Állami) 2023 februárjában hirtelen felmondta a bérleti szerződésemet ezzel a kastélyval. A 32 szoba és előtér kiürítésére csak néhány hét volt a rendelkezésemre álló idő. 2012 júniusában béreltem a kastélyt, és ugyanazon év szeptemberében Sauli Niinistö úr, Finnország elnöke érkezett, hogy megnyitja ezt a magánmúzeumot, amelyet a kastély gyönyörű szalonjaiban hoztam létre. A kastélyt privát nyári kulturális központként használtunk, ahol nemzetközi művésztáboroknak, művészeti kiállításoknak, koncerteknek, opera- és balettmesterkurzusoknak és egyéb rendezvényeknek adott otthont. A kastélyból Sibil von Manteuffel-Szoege bárónő szobáját is evakuálni kellet. Sajnos a kastély most teljesen üres, és a látogatók elől elzárták. Az Amadé-Bajzáth-Pappenheim kastély a három nyári hónapban, júniusban, júliusban és augusztusban csak kérésre volt nyitva. A kastély földszintjén a budapesti Ari Kupsus Galéria adott otthont, az emeleten a Stately Roomsban a Finn Nagykövetség emlékszobái (a nagykövetség a kastélyban működött a II. világháború alatt) és Kupsus úr magán nyári rezidenciája. Az emeleti impozánz szalonok és egyéb szobák freskókkal díszítettek, és pazarul berendezettek az eredeti korszak barokk, az empire és XVI. Lajos bútoraival és műalkotásaival, mindegyik 1860-as év előtt. A cél az volt, hogy az eredeti, élő enteriőröket megteremtsék, mint a grófi család még mindig élne ezekben a szobákban és szalonokban.
