【《香港企業家：黃克競回顧展》導賞團 】
近年不少人都喜歡手執菲林相機，用那份獨特色調🎞️記錄生活點滴。但你又知不知道，香港曾有本地品牌製造菲林相機？
早於 50 年代，「光學大王」黃克競博士引進相機製作技術，創立本地品牌夏蓮娜（Halina）📸，讓攝影逐漸走入大眾生活，掀起一股記錄日常的風潮。憑藉成熟的精密工藝，其工廠更於 70 年代領先同儕，成功為多個國際著名攝影品牌代工，帶領香港光學產品登上國際舞台。
然而，黃博士不僅是一位企業家，更是一位心繫社會的慈善家。1933 至 1934 年間，他以 27 歲之齡出任保良局總理，積極參與局務，親自審議婦孺收容及相關個案，細心照顧求助者。卸任後仍持續支持本局工作，並捐贈物資予局內婦孺，與保良局的情誼更見深厚💕。
是次展覽展出第一代 Halina 相機、雙筒望遠鏡等珍貴藏品，並精選館藏文獻及歷史照片，立體展現黃博士的生平與貢獻；場內另設訪談影片及相機道具打卡區，內容豐富。

【"Hong Kong Entrepreneur: Haking Wong Exhibition" Guided Tour 】
Lately, film photography has been making a comeback, with many drawn to its distinctive tones 🎞️ to capture everyday moments. But did you know that Hong Kong once had its very own homegrown camera brand?
In the 1950s, Hong Kong’s “King of Optics,” Dr. Haking Wong, introduced camera manufacturing technologies and founded the Halina brand 📸, helping to bring photography into the mainstream. With his mastery of precision engineering, his factory eventually became a key manufacturer for major international brands by the 1970s, placing Hong Kong’s optical products on the global stage.
Beyond his business success, Dr. Wong was also deeply committed to philanthropy. From 1933 to 1934, at just 27, he served as a Director of Po Leung K*k, actively taking part in its work and personally reviewing cases involving women and children with great care. Even after his term, he remained a steadfast supporter of the K*k, donating essential supplies to those in its care and maintaining a close, lifelong connection 💕.
This exhibition features first-generation Halina cameras, binoculars, and other treasured artefacts, alongside archival documents and historical photographs from the museum, offering a multi-dimensional look at Dr. Wong’s life and contributions. Visitors can also enjoy interview footage and a camera-themed photo spot for an interactive experience.
