HDGlass Lymm Glass Artist - UK - Also known as CALAGLASS but don’t know how to change the name on here. Welcome to my work.

Designing & making in a garden studio in the heart of Cheshire
Commissions/workshops/corporate & private/ashes in glass/trade I specialised in glass at the North Wales School of Art and Design receiving my BA Hons in 2010. I completed my PGCE the following year to enable me to teach. I make anything from small love tokens to large wall panels. October 2026 - Whitechapel, London

I was asked to be part of an art exhibition in Whitechapel. The event was to raise awareness of general health for adults with learning difficulties. To educate and promote checking your b***s and bottoms for anything which isn’t the usual.

These adults go to various day centres and LOVE creating artwork which has never been seen by the general public. They are so talented!
I have got loads more… keep an eye out!

Thank you to Wendy from the GREY MATTER PROJECT for inviting me to join the Social Workers, NHS Nurses and who made me feel so welcome and part of this amazing event.

My effort was, to source the materials, design and draw the outline to the BIG PICTURE. We went for a huge rainbow, sun, rain cloud, rain and plants.
12 x A3 Boards shared between the day centres for the learners to do their thing.

WELL DONE TO ALL INVOLVED 👏 👏 👏

My son and I are off to West Kirby today delivering the first batch of Christmas decorations to MerseyMade.

If you haven’t been to merseymadewestkirby you should go for a visit.

A short walk to West Kirby Beach which is beautiful.

Always check the tide times before you go… something I’ve forgotten in the past and Cala hasn’t come home with sandy paws 🐾 🐕

Our fused glass ‘Christmas Creations Workshops’ are on the website!

We’re near Lymm Rugby Club

18th Nov - 16th Dec
10-1pm
2-5pm
6-9pm

You’ll use a selections of materials to create up to 7 decorations or one large on a wooden stand and 4 smaller. There are other wooden stands which are optional to buy on the day.

Private workshops can be tailored to your budget. Minimum 5 people, maximum 10.

Tile/Coaster Workshop 10-1pm on Saturday 19th September.
You’ll make two using a range of materials such as glass powders, glass confetti, frits, metals, copper leaf and oxides.

Some people like to do this workshop before moving onto making a larger piece as a wall panel or splashback.

The Grand Opening for our new Workshop Studio where Cesca cut the red ribbon with very special pair of scissors which were used in 1973 to cut the red ribbon at the Salamis Bay Hotel in Famagusta where I was born in 1972! Followed by Chinese takeaway from Lymm Fish and Chip shop.
Such a great evening, two bottle of ch*****ne with all my special people 😃 🥰 🥂

We’ve been quiet on social media yet very busy here.
The kiln space will be great by the time we have workshops this weekend so at least I can get to my kilns without tripping over anything!
On Sunday I’ve got a Light Catcher session 10-1pm in the new WORKSHOP space. And we have availability of anyone wants to come and have a nosy and give us some feedback on what you think!
Thank you to everyone who has helped with this mammoth renovation. You’ve all made it happen in 9 days from when this was delivered last Monday from Rowswood Timber
