CHURCH STREET ROAD CLOSURE 💚
You may have noticed that Church Street is closed from the top of Common Hill. The road is accessible on foot from both ends, but there is no vehicle access. Our gallery remains open for business, as do our neighbouring businesses Heath Kane The Secret Society Barber X Wes1990 and CHATER'S ✨🙌

Looking for a creative and inspiring way to spend your day? Join our Lino Printing on Fabric Workshop and unlock the secrets to turning plain fabric into striking, hand-printed masterpieces.

In this friendly, hands-on session, you’ll learn the fundamentals of lino cutting and block printing, then put your new skills into practice by creating your own unique fabric designs. Whether you’re a complete novice or have some printmaking experience, you’ll be guided step-by-step and leave with a beautiful, handcrafted piece to cherish.

Artists and titles tagged on stories 💚

Original Prints Explained:
All the prints sold at Church Street Gallery are referred to as Original Prints, so let us explain what that means.
An Original Print is not a reproduction of a pre-existing image or a copy of a painting. The artwork is printed by hand by the artist, or under the artist's supervision, one layer of colour on top of the other until the final image is finished.
This process is repeated until the required number of prints is completed to fulfil the edition.
Once complete, the print is signed and numbered by the artist and will never be reprinted.
