Join us on Sunday 5th July for Moving the Mail, a fascinating day exploring how Britain's postal service relied on the railways to move millions of letters and parcels around the country.

Step inside our historic Travelling Post Office carriages, learn how mail was sorted while trains were on the move, discover the story behind the famous Mail Bag Exchange Apparatus and explore displays covering railway mail services and the Great Train Robbery.

Happy Father's Day! 🚂💙

If you're still deciding what to do today, why not come and join us for the Ridgeway Run at Buckinghamshire Railway Centre?

Historic commercial vehicles will be arriving throughout the morning, giving visitors the chance to get up close to some wonderful examples of transport history. Plus, you can enjoy unlimited steam train rides, the Railway Museum, model railway, café, gift shop and much more.

We're open from 10:30am and tickets are available on the gate.

Ridgeway Run is back tomorrow!

Join us at Buckinghamshire Railway Centre on Sunday 21st June as we welcome an incredible collection of historic commercial vehicles arriving from Henley as part of the 42nd Annual Ridgeway Run (usually arriving here around 11am).

Alongside the rally, visitors can enjoy unlimited steam train rides, explore the Railway Museum, visit the café and gift shop, and spend the day discovering our 25-acre heritage railway.

Looking for Father's Day plans this Sunday?

Why not join us for the 42nd Annual Ridgeway Run here at Buckinghamshire Railway Centre. We'll be welcoming dozens of historic commercial vehicles to the site from around 11am, alongside all the usual railway fun.

With unlimited steam train rides, the museum, model railway, café and gift shop all open, there's plenty to enjoy for vehicle enthusiasts and families alike.
