We're so excited to be taking part in the Nationwide 'Heritage Open Day' Festival, with FREE ENTRY to our Museum Day on Sunday 20th September, from 10.30am-5pm.

Visitors will be able to step back in time and wander the whole 25-acre site and admire the railway exhibits, including a fascinating carriage from Queen Victoria’s era, a loco from the 1800s and a carriage used by Churchill and Eisenhower to plan the D-Day Landings! We also have a large railway museum, travelling post office and other steam and diesel locomotives, carriages and coaches, and freight wagons to see and learn about. You will also be able to enjoy a ride on the miniature railway and watch the model railways, also on site.

The visitor centre, which is the original railway station building from central Oxford, will be open and houses the Railway Café and gift shop. There is also a small play area and train tables for the children, who will gaze in wonder at the size of the huge steam locos around the site! A great day out for all the family!

Entry is FREE for everyone! No need to pre-book – just turn up!

Not long until our show ground is filled with classic vehicles once again!

Auto Fest is TODAY, and we're getting ready to welcome you for a brilliant Bank Holiday Monday at Buckinghamshire Railway Centre.

Come and explore classic cars, motorbikes, buses and more, alongside unlimited steam train rides, live music, street food, trade stalls and our outdoor bar.

There's plenty to enjoy around the Railway Centre too, including our Railway Museum, Miniature and Model Railways, Visitor Centre, café and gift shop.

We're just two days away from our biggest car rally of the year, Auto Fest!!

From classic cars, motorbikes and buses filling the show ground to unlimited steam train rides, live music, street food, trade stalls and our outdoor bar, there's plenty planned for the day.

Plus, explore the Railway Museum, take a ride on the Miniature Railway and have a look around our model railway displays.
