What a fantastic place. The legendary Lancaster display, numerous items of heavy engineering, trades, crafts, fascinating exhibitions of bygone days. Seriously, this place is an absolute gem. AND.... so nice to run into one of my old teachers too. All in al it was great day.

Had a great day out at the museum. It was good to also be able see some of the old machinery working and still being used for it original purpose. All of the volunteers were very friendly and welcoming with a lot of knowledge and experience. Well worth a visit for all the family.
