That's right, we're this week if you're looking for a place to hide from the heat!

The main and Concorde hangar are nice and and we have a fantastic cafe, Flightline Kitchen + Bar that has outdoor seating, with plenty of outdoor space (including a play area) if you do want to catch some sun. ☀️

We're delighted to announce that Claire Hazelgrove MP has been appointed Vice-Patron of Aerospace Bristol ✈️

Claire joins Sir George White in supporting our work to preserve Bristol's world-leading aerospace heritage whilst helping inspire the next generation of engineers, innovators and aviation professionals.

As the home of Concorde Alpha Foxtrot and Europe's only remaining Bristol Freighter, Aerospace Bristol celebrates more than a century of aerospace achievement whilst helping young people explore future careers in engineering, technology and advanced manufacturing.

More than 13,000 learners take part in our education programme every year, and in the last year alone we delivered 347 curriculum-linked workshops to help connect classroom learning with real-world opportunities.

We look forward to working with Claire to continue championing Bristol's aerospace story and inspiring the talent that will shape its future.

🔨 Freighter UPDATE:

The scafolding on the nose has been moved to the side of the fuselage as the team have finished fitting the windows.

Next step is to prime the upper half of the fuselage and to prepare the aircraft for the first lick of paint over the coming weeks.

It's that we are able to open the doors once more to see the giant Freighter in its full glory!

The Bristol Bolingbroke has been rolled outside the conservation hangar to join today's show. Come and see the amazing work our volunteers have been doing to conserve this historic aircraft. 🛩️

Meet the team to learn the stories of this plane's history and the journey the team have been on to breath new life into it.
