Share a Story Month is nearly over! 😢

We’ve loved sharing stories with you during our Tuesday Story Box sessions this month. We hope you managed to catch one of our animated tales in the mini cinema at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery!

As well as Archibald the Dragon: A Saxon tale, visitors can enjoy beautifully animated films telling the stories of Mary Griffiths- the first person to cross the Suspension Bridge- as well as the legends of Goram and Vincent, the giants of the Avon Gorge, and powerful stories from the Bristol Blitz.

If you can’t make it to the museum, don’t worry, all of the films are available on our Learning Resources page.

šŸ« They’re perfect for the classroom or for home learning, with teacher guides and curriculum-linked activity ideas included.

Looks like they had a blast!

It’s great to see children enjoying their time in our museums and getting stuck into learning. While the workshops are a big part of the day, it’s just as wonderful to see them exploring the rest of the museum too.

For some children, a school trip is their first ever visit to a museum, so these experiences really count. They help build confidence, spark curiosity, and show that museums are welcoming spaces for everyone.
