We, Johnny and Rachel McBride, are hubby and wifey from Newtownards, County Down. After spending the most a

mazing 14 months traveling, living and working around Australia, our passion for fabulous coffee really began! Melbournians take their coffee very seriously indeed, it is not a drink but a culture or an Art! Our love for everything Aussie developed, Johnny trained as a Barista, while Rachel submerged herself within the Melbourne Art scene after completing an Art Residency in Tasmania. Where Art is embraced and encouraged at every level, we saw something that we wanted to bring back to Northern Ireland - inclusiveness. A collaboration of all our passions Coffee, Art, Food and People. Introducing HAPTIK! A new and exciting Melbourne influenced Contemporary Art Space and Coffee Bar in the heart of County Down. A stylish interior that has been designed to captivate and create the perfect backdrop for specialty coffee, gallery and studio space within an inclusive environment.

It’s been a minute since we did our last coffee tasting event. So come join us on THURSDAY 3 APRIL..

No fancy lingo, no complicated steps - just really good coffee & people!

Laid-back tasting where you can sample a variety of brews, discover what you like (and don’t), and chat with fellow coffee lovers.

For this event we will showcase four coffees from & and demonstrate fool proof brew at home methods helping us all enjoy great coffee!
