Step back in time at North Down Museum to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day with an afternoon full of nostalgia, stories, and song.

Meet fascinating characters from the past, brought to life by the brilliant Valhalla Street Theatre. Wander through the museum, chat with wartime figures, and experience what life was like on the home front during World War Two.

Don’t miss the sing-along finale in the courtyard at 3:15pm – a perfect moment for all ages to come together in celebration! 🎵

Plus, there’ll be extra fun for little ones in our Little Historians Gallery and Coffee Cure will be open serving light meals, snacks and beverages.

Arts Night at the Museum is happening at North Down Museum on Friday 21 March! 🎨

At Arts Night you can try your hand at everything from clay work to printmaking, sketching and painting! Come along and watch local artists demonstrate their work or take part in one of the many arts activities on offer!

Admission is FREE for this family-friendly event and for all activities. The museum's café Coffee Cure will be open throughout the evening where you can enjoy some great live music. 🎶

Browse an array of beautiful handmade products from 30 local artists and crafters. The museum will be festively decorated, the coffee shop will be open serving food and drinks and visitors will have the opportunity purchase unique gifts in a unique way.
