Have a great day, Roger!

Well, that's 2024 done for the museum. We are now closed to general admission for the winter. The museum will be open 1pm-3pm this Saturday 23rd Nov and the 30th, so that those who have booked puppet show seats are able to pop in and pay. There are a few spaces left for the 2pm show on the 14th December so contact Lena to book them. The full details are on the events page.
The first stage of making the building look more festive came to a halt when the new lights were found to be very much not new, so they've been swapped for another set at the shop! The next attempt will be this weekend coming!

Boo! Just one of other visiting witches sits watching over the comings and goings of this historic building, maybe even the things that go 'bump' in the night!
Come and see her and her coven friends at Minster Gatehouse Museum today (Saturday) as well as the 30th and 31st.
Our usual entry fees can be found online www.minstergatehouse.co.uk

On a damp and dreary day, it would be easy to decide to stay in and cosy up with a cuppa, but what about visiting one of Sheppeys oldest buildings and having a trip down memory lane as you look at artefacts about Olau Line, Sheppey's forgotten schools, locally found fossils, and all while being watched by a coven of antique witches?
Come up to Minster Gatehouse Museum and jog those memories. Once you've finished, peruse our souvenirs for those early purchases for Christmas (yes, the C word!). Free parking, low entry costs and our band of willing volunteers ready to help!
Open today (Saturday), 2pm-4.30pm!

Children beware, something spooky is afoot, for visiting Hags are lurking about. They've changed their plans, and are visiting us, coming on Saturday, but probably not on the bus. They'll spook you and scare you, but you'll come to no harm, if you visit the Gatehouse and use all your charm.
Come visit the Gatehouse, and learn of some history, but where the witches come from will remain a mystery.
There may be three or four, or more than a dozen, but you can be sure of a spooky old coven.
The museum is open this Saturday, 2pm-4.30pm, usual entry fees apply.
Come along, if you dare!!
