Sittingbourne Heritage Museum is an independent museum dedicated to researching, preserving and displaying the heritage of Sittingbourne and its surroundings. It is currently located at Unit 22 in the Forum Shopping Centre, just off Sittingbourne High Street. We are always looking for volunteers for all kinds of tasks and responsibilities, to assist with cataloguing and caring for the collection,

Are you looking to do some occasional volunteering? We are looking for people to help us with staffing our bar! It's sociable and easy (there's no manual adding up) and is usually only 2 - 3 hours in the evening, sometimes less! Some of our volunteers visited the Milton Court Hall Museum today with Borden Heritage Group . A fantastic local Museum, run by brilliant, knowledgeable volunteers. Please support the Museums we still have in Swale. As we know only too well, our local heritage is constantly under threat. If we don't use it, we lose it!
