We are seeking:
Front of House Coordinator

Foxton Canal Museum, Foxton Locks

Contract Type: Temporary role until 2 November 2026. 22.5 hours per week Friday, Saturday & Sunday (9-5pm)
Salary: £14.24 per hour including holiday pay.

Join our team at the beautiful Foxton Locks to coordinate the day to day running of Foxton Canal Museum. We are looking for a confident and friendly individual to ensure the Museum opens Friday to Sunday during the summer season. The roles includes opening and closing down the museum, talking to visitors and conducting tours to the Inclined Plane, coordinating the retail area including till operation and cashing up. Do you want to build your confidence and tell a remarkable story?

Foxton Canal Museum is looking for volunteer guides for the summer season.

This is a good opportunity for anyone interested in local history, heritage or museums.

We need someone to speak to our visitors, explain the fascinating story of Foxton clearly and help bring a unique local heritage site to life.

You do not need to be an expert. We will provide training and support.

Flexible summer opportunities available.

Celebrating 60 years of the Historical Canal Boat Club.
