Day one of EATM’s ‘Festival of Transport’ is over - thanks to our team of volunteers for helping to make it a success. We are so proud of our fleet of trolleybuses, particularly when we see views like this of 260, and for the ‘unusual depot workings’ enthusiasts amongst you, NESA 5 is spending two nights in the running shed. 5 will be out again tomorrow from 14:00 until 16:00.

Further work on 628 prepping the battery box and recently fitted panels for paint.

A coat of bitumen paint for the battery box and special metals primer for the panelling and they are ready for the inevitable paint job.

Also a coat of primer for the recently replaced panel on Hastings 34.

As this 1970 view of what are now known as Trolleybus depots 1 and 2 shows us, we have come a long way in that time, but there is still plenty more to do…
We are celebrating London 260’s 90th and NESA 5’s 100th this year, Nottingham 578 is back under the wires and work will soon re-start on Newcastle 628. In addition to all of this, we are working hard to keep the rest of our fleet operational for you to enjoy. Do come along and support us at Carlton Colville - www.eatm.co.uk
