☀️ WHAT A SUMMER IT’S BEEN! 🚋🚌🚂
As the summer holidays draw to a close, we’d like to take a moment to look back at what has been an incredible summer here at the East Anglia Transport Museum.
Over the past six weeks, we’ve welcomed over 4,000 visitors through our gates, travelling from near and far to step back in time and experience our trams, trolleybuses, buses and East Suffolk Light Railway.
From busy operating days to our brand-new Showtime Sundays, it’s been fantastic to see the museum bustling with families, enthusiasts, familiar faces and plenty of first-time visitors.
Of course, none of it would be possible without the huge amount of work that goes on behind the scenes. Our museum is run by volunteers, who give up countless hours to drive and crew our vehicles, operate the railway, staff our attractions, maintain our collection and keep everything running throughout the season.
And most importantly, thank you to everyone who has visited us this summer. Whether it was your first visit or your fiftieth, every admission, purchase, donation and kind word helps us continue preserving our unique collection for future generations.
