For Women's History month 2025, Karamel N22 are celebrating Women in Jazz from the 1st of March to the 30th of June 2025.

We feature four amazing musicians in March at Karamel.

Brigitte Beraha
KAIYO with special guest, Brigitte Beraha (vocals) performing with Paul Clarvis on drums, Alcyona Mick on Piano and Amy Baldwin on Bass.

Devon Gates
Devon Gates is a bassist, vocalist, and composer from Atlanta, Georgia, now based in Brooklyn, NY. After studying anthropology and jazz performance at Harvard University and Berklee College of Music.

Jyotsna Srikanth
Jyotsna will also present covers of Bollywood and South Indian film melodies. She is supported by two brilliant musicians from India, Shadrach Solomon on keyboard and Amoghavarsha on drums.

KEZIA ABUOMA
Kezia and her band will be playing a mix of her original compositions which take inspiration from the music of Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock and Mccoy Tyner as well as some fresh interpretations of older compositions.

What a night last Thursday!
The Pete Hurt Quartet delivered an incredible live jazz experience that left us all mesmerized.

Pete Hurt on sax, Alcyona Mick on piano, Dave Whitford on bass, and Dave Ingomells on drums – these musicians brought their A-game, creating a smooth, soulful sound that filled the room.

A comical retelling of Goldi story with lots of twists and participation. Ideal for families

Collage presents a Golden evening of classic Bollywood film songs, Punjabi love songs, and original compositions by Siddharth Singh.

Line-up: Siddharth Singh (guitar, vocal); Siemy Di (drums); Sunil Jhadav (keys).

Siddharth will be singing popular Bollywood and Punjabi songs along with few of his original tracks.

Accompanying him are:
Siemy Di on drums, well known drummer on the UK jazz scene who has performed with David Bowie and the Spice Girls.

Sunil Jhadav, one the best keyboard players in the UK who has worked with legends like Kishore Kumar, Manna Dey and many popular singers.
