Our rich and varied social history collection reflects and celebrates the culture and heritage of Lincolnshire and its people. Exhibits illustrate commercial, domestic, military, agricultural, industrial and community life. The Museum is home to an authentic World War One tank named “Daphne”, we also house the interactive galleries of the Royal Lincolnshire Regiment. The Museum always has a Childr

Please ask at reception when you arrive and staff will be happy to explain how to become a History Hunter! With so much to see, the Museum is an ideal location for your group to visit and take a trip down memory lane. Self guided visits are free but for a small charge we can arrange a guided tour with one of our knowledgeable members of staff. A big thank you to all of our volunteers as we celebrate at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life!

The time, dedication, and wealth of knowledge our volunteers bring make the museum such a special place to visit. Pictured are Maxine and Dorothy, two wonderful people who have been volunteering at the museum for more than 10 years.

We are incredibly grateful for everything all our volunteers do. They really are the heart of the Museum!
