We have these lovely watercolours by Douglas Spalding on display at the gallery at the moment. If you are missing the recent sunshine we have enjoyed these Italian paintings are just what you need! Douglas (Orange paint pot) has also been the artist in residence at the nearby Iona gallery for the past few days, so pop along there too to see more of his work.

We have just taken collection of some lovely new work from Miriam Smith. This is an acrylic of hers on the left, quite unusual as Miriam most commonly works in watercolour. We love the way it has a similar energy and feel to it to Kirsty Ritchie's paintings on the right.

Please note our gallery hours are now just Mon 1-5, Fri 1-5 and Sat 10-1 as the lovely Kirsty is moving on to pastures new. We wish her well for the future.

This means I now have studio space available for rent- contact me for further details.

In addition the gallery will also be shut from Mon 11th May reopening Fri 29th May- seeking inspiration for future glass studies!
